Sri Lanka People’s National Party Backs Dilith Jayaweera for Presidency
The Sri Lanka People’s National Party (Ilankai Makkal Thesiya Katchi) has officially announced its support for entrepreneur Dilith Jayaweera, the presidential candidate from the “Sarvajana Balaya” alliance, in the upcoming Sri Lankan presidential election.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today (19) between Dilith Jayaweera, leader of the Mawbima Janatha Party (MJP), and Thyagarasa Vishnukanthan, leader of the Sri Lanka People’s National Party, at the MJP Headquarters. This alliance strengthens Jayaweera’s position as a prominent candidate, bolstering the “Sarvajana Balaya” coalition’s efforts in the election.
This endorsement reflects the growing support for Jayaweera, who is running under the “Star” symbol, and his vision for Sri Lanka as outlined by the Sarvajana Balaya alliance.
