Presidential candidate and opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa has expressed his commitment to building a united and prosperous Sri Lanka, emphasizing the importance of protecting all communities from insults and discrimination. Speaking at a public rally in Akurana, Premadasa assured the public that his team is dedicated to healing the divisions within the country and fostering an environment of mutual respect.
Premadasa stated, “We have stood up for the Muslim community in this country. I will say one thing clearly… We will not allow any person, race, or religion to be insulted in this country. This country belongs to all of us, and my team and I take full responsibility for building it. We are committed to protecting every citizen with all our hearts.”
