The Piripun Organization has called on the public to unite behind a strategic plan for national development, rather than getting caught up in the usual political manifestos. This message was delivered during a press conference held in Colombo today (30), where a group of artists also voiced their support for presidential candidate Dilith Jayaweera.
Ananda Devasinghe, Chairman of the Piripun Organization, emphasized that Dilith Jayaweera, described as a “universal candidate entrepreneur,” is the only leader with a strategic plan capable of developing the country. He contrasted this with other political leaders, who he argued are merely offering traditional manifestos that have failed the nation for 77 years.
“While everyone is launching some traditional manifestos, the difference with Mr. Dilith Jayaweera is that he is focused on a strategic plan. Others are talking about manifestos, but if manifestos could not build the country in 77 years, they certainly won’t this time. We need a strategic plan under the leadership of Mahatma Dilith to develop the country,” Devasinghe stated.
In conjunction with the press conference, a pamphlet distribution program was held in Colombo to raise awareness and garner support for Jayaweera’s candidacy. The initiative, themed “Let’s all come together and create a happy world through an entrepreneurial state,” aims to encourage the public to embrace Jayaweera’s vision for a strategically developed and prosperous Sri Lanka.
