Eranga Gunasekara, Chairman of the Youth Front of the Malima Party, warned that if National People’s Force leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake fails after winning the presidential election, his downfall could be even more disastrous than that of former President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
Speaking in an online discussion, Gunasekara emphasized that rebuilding the country is not solely Anura’s responsibility but a collective effort that involves all citizens. He cautioned that if this joint effort is not realized, the consequences could be severe.
Gunasekara also expressed his frustration with the current government, stating that young voices are being suppressed and that his goals align with the aspirations of the Sri Lankan people.
