The Patriotic National Front has accused a group associated with the National People’s Force (NPP) of being responsible for the assault. According to eyewitness accounts, tensions escalated when a group of individuals opposed to the conference arrived and began expressing their disapproval of the event’s agenda. Verbal confrontations soon turned physical, resulting in an attack using sticks.
The attackers allegedly stormed the venue, causing damage and leaving several participants in shock. There were no immediate reports of serious injuries, though the atmosphere remained tense throughout the incident.
