A serious accident occurred at Helagampura Junction in the Damana area of Ampara, where a security vehicle from the elite security division of opposition leader Sajith Premadasa collided with a motorcycle.
Two individuals riding the motorcycle were injured and rushed to Ampara General Hospital. One of the victims is reported to be in critical condition and has been admitted to the intensive care unit.
