Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, the Samagi Jana Balawega presidential candidate, has pledged to turn every hospital in the country into a smart hospital if elected president. Addressing a rally in Ampara Ndavoor, Premadasa highlighted his vision for a technologically advanced healthcare system under his government.
In addition to revolutionizing healthcare, Premadasa emphasized his commitment to the agricultural and fishing sectors. He promised to provide farmers with 50 kg of fertilizer at a subsidized rate of Rs. 5,000, enabling them to reduce production costs. He also vowed to offer fuel subsidies to fishermen, aiming to transform both industries into more efficient and sustainable sectors.
