Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya has taken a firm stand on educational reform, announcing an immediate end to the practice of bringing politicians to school functions. During a meeting with senior officials from the Ministry of Education, Dr. Amarasuriya demanded swift justice for students impacted by the recent leakage of scholarship exam papers, calling for an independent investigation to address the issue.
In her remarks, the Prime Minister stressed that developing school education is a key priority for her government, which has committed to increasing allocations for education.
