The Sri Lankan Parliament has announced that a total of 167 bills were passed during the 9th parliamentary term, which commenced on August 20, 2020, and concluded at midnight on September 24, 2024. Of these, 146 were government bills, while 21 were private member bills.
The announcement was made by M. Jayalath Perera, Acting Director of Legislative Services and Director of Communications for the Sri Lankan Parliament.
