Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has announced plans to leave the country for a break following the parliamentary elections scheduled for November 14. During a youth meeting at the Colombo Arcade premises, Wickremesinghe clarified that his trip is not related to any new political appointment or role.
When questioned about the purpose of his travels, Wickremesinghe stated, “I am going abroad to take a break.” He also mentioned that he has received invitations to participate in several lectures while he is overseas.
