Former MP Johnston Fernando has criticized the President for failing to fulfill his campaign promises made during the last presidential election. Speaking at a public rally for the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), Fernando urged the President to stop complaining and start delivering on the commitments made to the people.
Fernando also mentioned his own experience, stating that he was arrested by the current government as soon as the good governance government took power. He called on the President to focus on solving the nation’s issues rather than shifting blame.
