Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi continues to dominate as the number-one-ranked ODI bowler, but Theekshana’s rise marks a significant achievement for Sri Lanka, highlighting the growing strength of their bowling attack.
In addition to his ODI success, Theekshana ranks 5th in the ICC T20 bowler rankings, further cementing his status as a versatile and consistent performer. Fellow Sri Lankan Wanindu Hasaranga is ranked 2nd in the T20 bowler rankings, trailing only England’s Adil Rashid.
Hasaranga also shares 4th place in the T20 all-rounder rankings with Australia’s Marcus Stoinis, showcasing his all-round capabilities.
