Members of Parliament from the National People’s Power (NPP), who were elected to represent remote areas, have recently been allocated housing at the Madiwela MP Housing Complex. To assist them in settling in, the party has supplied basic household appliances for their new residences, according to political sources.
The items provided include essentials such as gas cylinders, stoves, and electric fans. These goods have been procured using the personal funds of each MP, demonstrating their commitment to self-reliance and public service.
Notably, this marks the first time in the country’s history that a political party has taken the initiative to provide such support to its MPs. Party sources emphasized that this move underscores the party’s dedication to ensuring its representatives can focus on their legislative duties without being burdened by logistical challenges.
