The Ministry of Finance has yet to approve the proposed gas price revision for this month, causing delays in the monthly price update that is typically announced on the 4th of each month.
According to Litro Gas Company, the recommended price adjustments were submitted for approval in the first week of February, but the Finance Ministry has not yet provided clearance. As a result, there will be no change in the price of Litro gas for February until further notice.
This delay has raised questions about the pricing policy and government intervention in fuel and energy markets, especially amid fluctuations in global LPG prices. Consumers and industry stakeholders now await an official decision from the Ministry of Finance, which will determine whether gas prices will remain unchanged or be adjusted in the coming weeks.
