Two individuals have been injured and hospitalized following an alleged assault by Parliamentarian Ramanathan Archuna at a hotel in Jaffna, police reported.
According to initial statements from the victims, the altercation began as an argument while they were dining, which then escalated into violence, with the MP allegedly attacking them.
Law enforcement authorities are currently investigating the incident, and further details are expected to emerge as statements are recorded. A video of the altercation has also surfaced, adding to the controversy surrounding the incident.
