Sri Lankan cricketer Ashen Bandara has been arrested by the Piliyandala Police following an altercation in the Kolamunna area.
According to police reports, the cricketer was involved in an argument over a parking dispute, which escalated into an assault at a private residence. Bandara had allegedly entered another person’s house and attacked a resident after a confrontation over his car blocking the road.
Following his arrest, Bandara was granted police bail and is scheduled to appear in court on the 12th. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
