Deputy Minister of Public Security Sunil Watagala has stated that, for the first time in history, Parliament now has truly honorable members, unlike in the past when it was dominated by businessmen.
Speaking at a public meeting, Watagala emphasized that previous parliaments consisted primarily of business interests, but under the current administration, a government of genuine representatives has been established.
He claimed that his leadership has played a role in ensuring that businessmen no longer dictate politics, allowing for a government with real honorable members for the first time in history.
