A decision has been made to limit the opportunity for special questioning under Parliamentary Standing Order 27/2, which is granted to party leaders.
This restriction will also impact Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.
Under the new arrangement, these questions can now only be raised in Parliament once a week.
