Former Deputy Minister Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan (Karuna Amman) and former State Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan (Pillayan) have officially joined the newly formed Eastern Tamil Alliance ahead of the upcoming local government elections.
The alliance was recently established by former State Minister Sathasivam Wiyalendran, focusing on contesting elections in the Eastern Province.
An agreement confirming Karuna Amman’s inclusion in the alliance was signed yesterday (22nd) at a private hotel in Batticaloa.
