Deputy Minister TB Sarath stated that the Dahaiyagala mountain range near the Maduru Oya reservoir in Dimbulagala has gained popularity as a landing spot for aliens in Sri Lanka.
He mentioned that due to this growing reputation, the area has the potential to become a globally recognized tourist destination. He added that promoting this unique story could significantly boost the tourism industry in the region.
Furthermore, Deputy Minister Sarath emphasized the importance of scientifically examining and validating these claims if possible, to further enhance tourism potential.
He expressed these views while participating in the People’s Day program aired on national television.
