Model Piumi Hansamali, currently in Turkey, has vehemently denied accusations of selling substandard creams. Speaking to “Aruna,” she stated that she would never sell products of inferior quality, emphasizing that if the creams were harmful, she would never allow her own mother to use them.
Hansamali revealed that her sixty-year-old mother and her son both use the creams, and neither has experienced any adverse side effects to this day. She also mentioned that her products have been sold to approximately 35,000 customers without issue.
Issuing a public challenge, she invited anyone to prove that she is selling creams bought from questionable sources. She claimed that certain groups are making baseless accusations to divert attention from real societal issues.
Addressing other allegations, Hansamali said she has already proven the legitimacy of her earnings where necessary. She insisted that her wealth is not connected to black money or drug trafficking. Regarding the luxury car she sold, Hansamali clarified that she unknowingly sold it to her friend’s husband, who was later identified as a drug trafficker, leading to unfounded accusations against her.
Meanwhile, the Unlawful Assets Investigation Division has announced plans to summon the individuals who purchased Piumi Hansamali’s creams and gather further statements.
