President Anura Kumara Dissanayake announced that several individuals responsible for the Easter Sunday attacks will be revealed before April 21st.
Speaking at a public rally in the Deiyandara area of Matara during the local government election campaign, the President emphasized the government’s commitment to justice and accountability.
“Investigations into the Easter attacks are being carried out systematically. The date of the Easter attacks will be remembered again on April 21st,” he said.
He further added, “The Criminal Investigation Department is working diligently to expose a significant group responsible for the attacks before April 21st.”
The announcement comes as the nation prepares to commemorate the deadly attacks that occurred on Easter Sunday in 2019, which claimed hundreds of lives and shocked the world.
