Dan Priyasad has died following a shooting that took place last night (April 22).
The incident occurred around 9:10 p.m. on the top floor of the Laksanda Sevana apartment complex in Wellampitiya.
According to police, Priyasad succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to the hospital. Another individual sustained minor injuries in the shooting and is currently receiving treatment.
Preliminary investigations reveal that two assailants arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire using a pistol-type weapon.
Wellampitiya Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
