The Sri Lankan cricket team reeling after a poor show at the concluded World Cup will play in 21 ODI matches in addition to 10 Test matches and 21 more T20 Internationals in 2024 taking to 52 the number of matches in bilateral series contests.
The year will dawn for Sri Lanka with an ODI and T20 home series against Zimbabwe in January followed by Afghanistan touring the island in January-February for a one-off Test match, three ODs and an equal number of T20 Internationals.
Sri Lanka will also host India for three ODIs and three T20s, New Zealand for two Test matches and the West Indies for three ODIs and three T20s and will also make tours of Bangladesh, England, South Africa and New Zealand.
Sri Lanka’s first tour outside the country will be for a two-Test series along with three ODIs and three T20s against Bangladesh in February-March.
According to the schedule for 2024, Sri Lanka will not have any bilateral series against Australia, Pakistan and Ireland from among the 12 Test-playing nations.
Sri Lanka is also listed to contest the T20 World Cup in the West Indies with some of the matches also scheduled for the USA in June-July.

August-September: Sri Lanka vs England (away) 2 Tests
September: Sri Lanka vs New Zealand (home) 2 Tests
October: Sri Lanka vs West Indies (home) 3 ODIs, 3 T20s
November: Sri Lanka vs New Zealand (home) 3 ODIs, 3 T20s
November-December: Sri Lanka vs South Africa (away) 2 Tests
December: Sri Lanka vs New Zealand (away) 3 ODIs, 3 T20s
