Bangladesh Tour of New Zealand
New Zealand claimed a hard-fought victory against Bangladesh by 44 runs on the Duckworth Lewis method at Logan Park. Will Young and Tom Latham’s stellar performances propelled the Kiwis before their bowlers sealed the game in the second innings.
Despite losing early wickets, Young and Latham formed a formidable 175-run partnership for the third wicket, steering New Zealand to 239 for 7 by the 30th over.
Bangladesh faced a barrage of wickets during their chase which disrupted their momentum.
Kiwi bowlers Adam Milne, Ish Sodhi, and Josh Clarkson picked up crucial wickets, with every other bowler chipping in. Despite reaching 200 for 9 at the end of their thirty overs, Bangladesh fell short by 44 runs on DLS.
