Deputy Minister T.B. Sarath questions the unexplained funding behind Rohitha Rajapaksa’s Supreme Sat project, urging a full investigation into how the money was obtained.
Deputy Minister T.B. Sarath has called for an investigation into how Rohitha Rajapaksa, son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, managed to finance the launch of the Supreme Sat satellite. Speaking to the media after attending an official program, the Deputy Minister questioned how Rohitha, who he claimed had not engaged in any professional work, could have secured the substantial funds required for such a project.
Sarath stressed that Rohitha should come forward and clearly disclose the source of the money used for the satellite launch. The Supreme Sat initiative, long surrounded by public scrutiny and political debate, continues to spark questions over its funding and accountability.
