Science and Technology Minister Krishantha Abeysena insists the present administration is free of corruption, politically impartial and guided by genuine piety in governance.
Minister of Science and Technology Krishantha Abeysena says that under the current government, no form of theft, corruption or thuggery will be tolerated. He assured that if any wrongdoing is reported, he would personally intervene or take immediate action within his authority to prevent it.
Addressing a ceremonial gathering, the Minister emphasized that the President, Cabinet and Members of Parliament have established what he described as a clean and transparent system of governance. According to him, the administration is committed to accountability, rule of law and ethical political leadership.
The Minister who further commented said:
“Our government is not biased towards any race or religion. Although we are not unnecessarily burdened by religious extremism, we are very pious in our actions. There are a group of truly pious ministers in the present government.”
He stressed that the administration’s policies are driven by national interest rather than sectarian agendas. In his view, clean governance, anti corruption measures and equal treatment of all communities remain central pillars of the government’s reform agenda.
Abeysena maintained that the public can place confidence in the present leadership, as it seeks to build a corruption free political culture and strengthen public trust in state institutions.
