The Tangalle Regional Education Office has instructed all school principals to submit detailed reports explaining why teachers failed to attend Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya’s special meeting held at the Tangalle Town Hall on March 15, citing urgent administrative requirements.
The Tangalle Regional Education Office has instructed all school principals in the region to provide reports detailing the reasons why teachers did not attend a special meeting chaired by Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya. The meeting was held at the Tangalle Town Hall on March 15.
A circular issued on Monday (23) by Regional Education Director W. A. S. D. Kalyani communicated this directive. The notice reminded principals that the meeting had been organized for teachers within the Tangalle Education Zone and that the regional office had previously requested details of those expected to attend.
Accordingly, principals have been tasked with submitting, before tomorrow (March 26), a report clarifying the reasons for the absence of teachers who did not attend the meeting to represent their schools. The circular emphasized that this information is urgently required for official purposes and instructed that the reports be submitted without any delay.
