The Sunrisers Eastern Cape capitalized on winning the toss and opting to bat, thanks to Tom Abell and Jordan Herman. Tristan Stubbs and Markram then to over the reins, accelerating towards the end. Stubbs’ unbeaten 56 and Markram’s 42 propelled Sunrisers to a formidable total of 204 runs for the loss of 3 wickets, giving the Super Giants a daunting task ahead of them.

Marco Jansen’s exceptional bowling spell, including two wickets in his first over, dismantled the Super Giants’ batting lineup, securing a vital victory for Sunrisers. Daniel Worrall’s early wicket set the tone for Sunrisers’ bowling attack, with Ottiniel Baartman chipping in towards the end.
