Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field first. Pakistan set a target of 141 runs, scoring 140 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs.
In response, Sri Lanka chased down the target with precision, reaching 141 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in just 19.5 overs. Chamari Athapathu led the charge with a stellar 63 runs off 48 balls, while Anushka Sanjeewani remained unbeaten on 24 runs.
