Sri Lankan batting coach Thilina Kandambi has indicated that he will be making tough decisions regarding the team’s batting lineup following another disappointing series defeat to India.
Kandambi expressed his concerns after witnessing yet another series loss attributed to poor batting performance. “I am definitely at the point where we need to be more responsible as batsmen,” Kandambi stated. “While we can practice as much as we want and provide all necessary training and information, the real test is how we perform in the middle. We need to think more critically and play with our heads.”
He highlighted that this issue is not new, referencing similar problems faced during the recent World Cup. “We are working on finding a solution from those experiences,” Kandambi added, signaling a commitment to addressing these ongoing batting issues.
