In a stellar performance at the 56th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship, held yesterday, Sri Lankan athletes achieved remarkable success.
Minusha Premasingha secured the gold medal in the Men’s Sports Physique up to 180 cm category. Premasingha’s victory highlighted his dedication and skill, earning him top honors in this competitive field.
Madushi Amarasingha also excelled, winning a bronze medal in the Women’s Sports Physique over 165 cm category. Amarasingha’s achievement underscores her outstanding physique and commitment to the sport.
Both athletes represented Sri Lanka through the Sri Lanka Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation, showcasing their talents on a prestigious Asian stage. The championship, which brings together top competitors from across the continent, served as a platform for Sri Lankan athletes to demonstrate their prowess and bring pride to their nation.
