Udaya Gammanpila, leader of the Pivithuru Hela Urumaya Party, has uncovered what he describes as a grand diplomatic scheme by a powerful foreign nation to unite Sri Lanka’s political “dream team” – Ranil Wickramasinghe and Sajith Premadasa.
In a recent internet channel discussion, Gammanpila shared that the original master plan was to crown Ranil as the presidential candidate and bestow the prime minister’s seat on Sajith. But, in a shocking twist, the script has apparently flipped, with Sajith now penciled in as the future President, and Ranil ready to take on the Prime Minister’s role.
As if that wasn’t enough, Gammanpila let slip that Anura Kumara Dissanayake, leader of the National People’s Power, has a secret admirer – none other than the world’s most powerful Western nation. Seems like international matchmaking is all the rage in Sri Lanka’s political scene!
