The Government Nursing Officers Association has stated that their salaries have been reduced due to the salary revision introduced in this year’s budget proposal.
In response, the association organized protests in front of several hospitals across the country today, voicing their frustration over the unexpected salary cuts.
Nursing officers warned that if the government fails to address the issue, stricter actions will be taken in the future. They further emphasized that under this new revision, their April salaries will be lower than what they received in March, worsening their financial situation.
