
The Frontline Socialist Party has raised concerns about Sri Lanka potentially getting involved in the Ukrainian war.
Pubudu Jayagoda, the party’s Education Secretary, made these remarks during a People’s Struggle Alliance election rally held in Badulla.
He stated, “There is a doubt whether Sri Lanka is going to intervene in the Ukrainian war as well. A European Union army is expected to intervene in the war. The Sri Lankan army is being used to provide soldiers for that purpose. Then, if Russia comes and attacks Sri Lanka, will it be held accountable in that manner?”
