Sri Lanka’s total outstanding government debt increased to Rs. 29,994.7 billion by the end of 2025, according to a report released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. This marks an increase of Rs. 1,255.99 billion compared to the end of 2024, when total debt stood at Rs. 28,738.70 billion.
