COLOMBO — The Galle Face Hotel is celebrating a major milestone following a standout performance by its culinary team at the prestigious Nestlé Lanka Golden Chefs’ Hat Competition.
Chef Weeramma Dinesh and Chef Nethula Ometh secured the Second Runner-Up title, reinforcing the iconic heritage hotel’s reputation for world-class gastronomy.
The competition, which draws top culinary talent from across the island, tests chefs on creativity, technical precision, discipline, and performance under intense pressure. Management at the Galle Face Hotel praised the duo, noting that the accolade is a direct result of their unwavering commitment to culinary excellence.
