Recent reports circulating on social media claimed that popular journalist Chamuditha Samarawickrama would be contesting in the upcoming parliamentary elections, representing the Colombo district under the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), led by Sajith Premadasa.
However, Chamuditha has denied these rumors, stating that the reports are false. He clarified that he has no plans to enter politics or contest in the parliamentary elections, putting an end to the ongoing speculation regarding his political involvement.
