Colombo – Sajith Premadasa, the presidential candidate of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), firmly denied rumors circulating on social media that his party plans to join forces with the United National Party (UNP). Addressing a presidential rally, Premadasa emphasized that he will not work with corrupt individuals or institutions.
He asserted that SJB’s victory is certain and accused both the current government and the National People’s Power of spreading false rumors and paying to manipulate social media narratives.
Premadasa reiterated that as a principled political party, the SJB will not collaborate with any political groups that have contributed to the country’s downfall.
