Stones were hurled at a rally of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) presidential candidate Namal Rajapaksa in Siribopura, Hambantota. A child injured during the attack was rushed to Hambantota Hospital.
Namal, along with Chamal and Shiranti Rajapaksa, were scheduled to attend the event but did not appear following the incident. However, Shiranti Rajapaksa visited the hospital to check on the injured child’s condition. Authorities are investigating the incident.
People know what this disgusting family of scoundrels did over the years, fleecing and robbing the nation dry. Maybe the Rajapakse’s memory is short, not the people’s. They will not tolerate it any longer.
