National People’s Power (NPP) Parliamentarian Devananda Suraweera has claimed that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya have earned the admiration of world leaders for their integrity and leadership.
Speaking at a local government election rally organized by the NPP, Suraweera attributed this international respect to the administration’s success in eradicating theft, corruption, and fraud from Sri Lanka’s political system. He praised the leadership’s commitment to transparency and accountability, suggesting it has positioned the country as a rising example of good governance on the global stage.
Suraweera’s remarks come amid growing domestic and international attention on the reforms introduced under the current government’s tenure.
