In a dramatic shake-up just ahead of the Lanka Premier League (LPL), Sri Lanka Cricket has confirmed that the Colombo Strikers and Jaffna Kings franchises will soon be under new ownership. The cricketing authority, alongside tournament organizers IPG Group, has moved to terminate the contracts of the current owners due to failure to meet key contractual obligations.
