Deepika made the announcement through her Instagram, sharing a behind-the-scenes video from a studio where she was recording her voice for Meta AI. In her post, she introduced herself with the words, “Hi, I’m Deepika Padukone. I’m the new voice of Meta AI. So if you ring the bell, you’ll hear my voice.” She followed it with a caption expressing her excitement, “Okay, so I think this is pretty cool! I’m now a part of Meta AI – you can chat with my voice in English across India, the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.”

At the same time, Deepika continues to champion mental health awareness. Recently, she was appointed as the first ever Mental Health Ambassador by India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The announcement was made on World Mental Health Day, recognizing her decade-long work through her foundation, The Live Love Laugh (LLL) Foundation. Expressing gratitude, Deepika posted, “On World Mental Health Day, I am extremely honoured to be appointed as the first ever Mental Health Ambassador of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.” She further praised the government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi for prioritizing mental health, adding that she looks forward to working with Union Minister J.P. Nadda and the ministry to strengthen India’s mental health framework.
