PSL 2024 (Game 11) – Multan Sultans vs Quetta Gladiators
The Multan Sultans maintained their dominant start to the PSL, beating the Quetta Gladiators by 13 runs. This win makes it four out of five for the Sultan’s, impressing with both bat and bowl on multiple occasions. Reeza Hendricks, Mohammad Rizwan and Tayyab Tahir teamed up to pile on runs in the first innings. Later assisted by Multan’s exceptional bowling attack, that did well to curtail the Gladiators attempted at a successful run chase.
The Sultans, led by captain Mohammad Rizwan, showcased their skill with the bat, posting a challenging total of 180 for 4 wickets. Reeza Hendricks spearheaded the charge with a commanding 72 runs, ably supported by Rizwan’s vital half-century. A late flourish from Tayyab Tahir, scoring a brisk 35 off 22 balls, further bolstered the Sultans’, ensuring they end a great start with an even better finish.
Despite the Gladiators promising start, they couldn’t maintain the pressure throughout the rest of the run chase.
