Colombo, Sri Lanka – Mrs. Daisy Forrest Wickramasinghe, widely known as Daisy Achchi, has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with an ongoing money laundering investigation.
Authorities took Wickramasinghe into custody when she voluntarily appeared at the CID office to provide a statement regarding the case.
Following her arrest, officials confirmed that she will be presented before the court as part of the legal proceedings.
