The Court of Appeal has scheduled further consideration for the writ petition filed by former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella on July 1. The petition aims to overturn the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court order that remanded Rambukwella until the trial’s conclusion regarding the procurement of substandard human intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) vials.
During today’s hearing, Deputy Solicitor General Nirmalan Wigneswaran presented the case on behalf of the Attorney General.
