Hayleys Group profit surged during the first quarter of the 2026/27 financial year, with profit before tax reaching Rs. 10.15 billion, up 61% year-on-year.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, consolidated revenue climbed 38% to Rs. 179.32 billion. Meanwhile, profit after tax rose sharply by 86% to Rs. 5.92 billion.
Transport and Logistics Drive Hayleys Group Profit
The Transport and Logistics Management sector delivered the strongest contribution to the Group’s financial growth.
Revenue from the sector jumped 84% from the corresponding period last year to Rs. 42.88 billion.
The Consumer and Retail sector also recorded strong growth. Its revenue increased 46% to Rs. 49.22 billion during the quarter.
Meanwhile, Hayleys’ export-oriented businesses collectively reported a 24% increase in revenue.
EBITDA and EBIT Record Strong Growth
The Group’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation, or EBITDA, increased 46% to Rs. 18.11 billion.
Earnings before interest and taxes, or EBIT, also strengthened significantly, rising 53% to Rs. 14.02 billion.
The latest results underline broad-based growth across several key business segments during the opening quarter of the financial year.
