A ship carrying the first consignment of imported salt from India is set to dock in the country tomorrow, delivering 4,000 metric tons of salt, according to the State Commercial Miscellaneous Corporation.
This shipment is part of the government’s plan to tackle the ongoing salt shortage. The Cabinet recently approved the importation of 30,000 metric tons of salt to ensure supply stability across the country.
