Deputy Minister of Agriculture Namal Karanarathna stated that the animal census conducted today was highly successful, with hundreds of thousands of people participating with enthusiasm.
He shared that his wife and son took part in the census on their 60-perch land, where they recorded the presence of three toque macaques.
Expressing his gratitude, the Minister thanked the public, government officials, media institutions, and all those who contributed to making the census a success.
