British School of Commerce introduces three new study pathways offering students opportunities in business, marketing and finance.
The British School of Commerce (BSC), a higher education institution, has recently introduced three new higher education pathways aimed at addressing existing gaps in the higher education sector and producing graduates equipped for the job market.
Affiliated with the British School of Commerce in London, BSC was established in 2010. The institution announced that the new programmes will provide students interested in business studies, international marketing, and finance with the opportunity to obtain an internationally recognised degree awarded by Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom.
Furthermore, under the new programme, students can complete a foundation diploma before progressing directly into the final year of a university-awarded degree.
The institution also stated that Edinburgh College in Scotland is a globally recognised provider of professional qualifications. Additionally, the British School of Commerce said it is recognised by Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Education as a degree-awarding institution.
The occasion was marked by the handing over of a copy of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to Mr. Kisho Denish Peter, Chief Executive Officer of the British School of Commerce, by Mr. Ravi Jayewardene, Chief Executive Officer of the Maliban Group and Chairman of the Board of Management of the British School of Commerce.
Under the agreement, students pursuing their education at the British School of Commerce will be provided with opportunities for industrial training, internships, and potential career opportunities within the Maliban Group.
